Content Policy
What you can and cannot make with Hotel Lobby AI Generator, the consent and labeling rules, how we enforce them, and how to report a video.
Last updated: 2026-10-01
This policy covers every video and photo you upload and every video you generate. It is part of our Terms of Service. The short version: use only footage and faces you have the right to use, only of adults who said yes, and label the result as AI.
What you can make
- Videos of yourself.
- Videos of friends or family who are adults and have agreed to it.
- Original characters you created.
- AI-generated people who do not exist.
In every case, the video must be one you filmed yourself or have permission to use, and the photos must be yours or used with permission.
What we refuse
Our automated check refuses uploads that contain:
- sexual content or nudity of any kind;
- anyone who appears to be under 18, in any context;
- non-consensual or intimate imagery;
- impersonation of a real person.
Also not allowed, whether or not our check catches it:
- celebrities or public figures, unless they have given you permission;
- clips you did not film and have no permission to use, including clips from films, TV or other people's posts;
- harassing, bullying or humiliating anyone;
- making a real person appear to say or do something they did not, in order to mislead, including about elections or politics;
- content that defames someone, or that is used for fraud or scams.
When something is borderline, we refuse it.
Consent rules
- Every identifiable person in your photos and video must agree, before you upload, to have their likeness used in an AI-generated video.
- Only adults can give that consent. If anyone shown is under 18, do not upload.
- Where the law requires it, such as the biometric laws described in our Privacy Policy, get that consent in writing. A saved message is a simple way to do it.
- If someone changes their mind, stop sharing the video and delete it.
- We may ask you to show that you had consent, for example after a report.
Label it as AI
When you post a generated video anywhere, say clearly that it is AI-generated, for example in the caption or with the platform's AI label. Many platforms require this, and a growing number of deepfake disclosure laws require it for AI-generated or altered media of real people.
Every video we generate carries C2PA Content Credentials from our AI provider that mark it as AI-generated in a machine-readable way, and our site labels each result "AI-generated". Do not remove or hide these labels to pass a video off as real.
Music and sound
Generated videos have no sound. If you add music, use music you have the rights to, such as a track from a royalty-free library or the licensed sound library of the app you post to.
How we enforce this
- Before generation, every upload, including your photos and frames sampled from your video, goes through an automated content-safety check. Our AI providers may also refuse a request.
- A blocked upload costs a 3-credit refusal fee. A request refused during generation keeps the credits charged for it. See the Refund Policy.
- Repeated refusals pause video generation on your account: first for 24 hours, then for 7 days, then until a person reviews the account.
- Any content that sexualizes minors closes the account immediately and permanently, and may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
- If we learn of a violation later, for example from a report, we may delete the content and pause or close the account.
Automated checks are not perfect. If you think a refusal was a mistake, tell us through the takedown form by choosing "Other".
How to report a video
Anyone can report content made with our service at /takedown, with or without an account. Use it for:
- non-consensual intimate imagery, which we handle within 48 hours;
- impersonation, or use of your likeness without your consent;
- copyright infringement (DMCA notices);
- anything else that breaks this policy.
Our DMCA designated agent registration is in progress; until it is published here, send notices through the takedown form.
